Essays
If you've heard someone talking about AP, or you've had an AP class before, you know there's one thing you should always expect: essays. In AP World History, there are three essays. The first you conquer is the DBQ (short for "document-based question"). But don't worry, the DBQ becomes easier the more times you do it. And trust me, you will do it PLENTY of times, thanks to our pal Mr. Brock. The thing I will warn you about that concerns the DBQ is that it can be very time consuming, if you allow it to be. Just set some time out of your day to DBQ it up, and get a 9 son. The CC (cultural comparison) and CCOT (continuous/change over time) are super easy. They take less time than the DBQ, they're most people's favourites. THE MAIN WAY TO BEAST UP THE ESSAYS is to use the Guatemala paper that Mr. Brock gives you! Trust me, it'll be a breeze, you'll see.
